Captain’s Cottage is reverse level with the open plan living area on the first floor to make the most of the views. The sitting area is to the front from which the views can be enjoyed and it has a vaulted ceiling and oak flooring. It is furnished with hand made leather sofas, flat screen TV with Freeview, Blu-ray/DVD player and CD/Ipod dock/radio. A beautifully fitted new kitchen with granite work surfaces includes a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, integrated microwave and island breakfast bar with stools. The washer/dryer is located downstairs. There is also a small desk and Wi-Fi.
From the dining area beside the kitchen, French doors lead out to a sheltered enclosed patio, with table and chairs, that catches the morning sun. From here a flight of steps lead up to an elevated gravel garden with coastal planting. A glass balustrade creates a sheltered sitting out area from which to enjoy the views and a glass of wine. There is a further patio with seating at the front of the cottage. Children require supervision in these areas.
Downstairs is a king bedroom with TV and a twin bedroom with TV and DVD. The bathroom has both a bath and separate shower cubicle, anti-mist mirror, shaver point and heated towel rail.
